As a client-centered therapist I believe that life presents each and every one of us
with continual challenges that require the support and guidance of those who
care about us. With that support, we can turn those challenges into opportunities
for growth and to get back on the course we intend. The safety and
confidentiality of my practice allows clients to identify their heartfelt purpose and
to receive the guidance of an experienced professional to help them create a life-
affirming path.
I use empathic listening skills along with mutual dialogue to help clients discover their heartfelt goals for this process. I also have a great deal of experience using well-tested tools, resources, and techniques to help clients consolidate gains along the way. Clients inevitably begin to see tangible progress, which in turn provides additional direction and opportunities for experiencing growth. Typically, sessions are held once per week to maintain momentum, but I am flexible regarding frequency and time in order for sessions to fit easily into client’s busy
schedules.
During these turbulent times, tele-therapy is not only an excellent option, but in many cases necessary. I provide tele-therapy for individuals or couples that are unable to meet in
person. Tele-therapy is an excellent option if there are concerns about illness or public health,
travel restrictions, or for clients who may be more comfortable receiving services in the comfort
of their own homes.

I want to get to know you in a comfortable and relaxed environment. We will schedule a phone or video call to discuss the first steps. Please trust me, this is different for everyone. Some know exactly what and how they want our sessions to look like, and others just want to learn about therapy and how they might benefit. This is a very open-ended conversation.
I understand that everyone's ability to pay is different and often dictated by an insurance company. My practice accepts the majority of private health insurance plans while also offering the option to self-pay. Additionally, I want to make it as easy as possible; many patients choose to submit the bill themselves to their insurance company. I have plenty of experience and am willing to provide the necessary documentation in order to ease the payment process. Lastly, I work with clients on a sliding scale fee whenever possible.
